Stowmarket Ramblers

Notes for all participants

1. The Stowmarket Group  cannot accept any responsibility for any form of injury or damage suffered by  anyone participating in our walks.  All participants are responsible for their  own safety and well being.

2. Any accident must be reported to the Group Secretary

3. Participants are  responsible for providing their own equipment such as first aid, clothing items, refreshment, etc., as they may deem necessary.

4. In severe weather  conditions intending participants should check with the Leader, before leaving  home, to see if the walk is going ahead.

4. Dogs may be brought on  walks, unless otherwise stated, provided always that they are kept on a short lead at all times and that the owner walks at the rear.

6.Children are entirely welcome but any child taking part in any RA activity must be accompanied by an immediate adult family member (parent, guardian, elder sibling,  grandparent)

7.If you are without transport and wish to take part in one of the programme walks, ring Judy, the group secretary, on 01449 673690, she will try to assist. Walkers willing to give lifts occasionally to others without transport should ring Judy with their details.

8. Will walkers please walk behind the leader. The leader is best placed to judge a suitable pace, taking account of the terrain and the ability of walkers.
